Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position assists in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project tasks, while also facilitating communication between stakeholders and the project team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and management of project schedules and budgets.
Support the project manager in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Document project progress, decisions, and changes accurately and comprehensively.
Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
Participate in Agile methodologies to promote iterative development and continuous improvement.
Assist in organizing and facilitating project meetings and workshops.
Monitor project deliverables and timelines to ensure adherence to project plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of project management software, particularly Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
