Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our Estate and Probate team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping families plan for the future and navigate probate processes, with a strong understanding of Texas estate law.
Key Responsibilities:
-Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
-Represent clients in probate and estate administration proceedings
-Conduct legal research and draft legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
-Advise clients on tax implications, asset protection strategies, and guardianship issues
-Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and ensure excellent service
-Assist with contested estate matters, as needed
Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor
-Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing
-3+ years of estate planning and/or probate experience preferred
-Ability to handle a wide array of clients in estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, real estate and business entity planning
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and cases efficiently
