Health Care Associate

Salary: $125,000 - $153,000

Position Overview
The Health Care Associate is responsible for providing legal and regulatory support to healthcare organizations, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, and assisting in the management of healthcare-related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the interpretation and implementation of healthcare regulations and policies
  • Conduct legal research on healthcare issues, including Medicare and Medicaid compliance
  • Review contracts and agreements related to healthcare services
  • Support litigation efforts involving healthcare disputes
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient rights are upheld
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies
  • Provide guidance on healthcare policy changes and their implications for the organization
  • Participate in training sessions regarding regulatory compliance and legal standards

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar
  • Experience in healthcare law, including regulatory compliance
  • Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to negotiate contracts effectively
  • Knowledge of healthcare policy and risk management practices
  • Familiarity with administrative law and patient rights
  • Proven experience in litigation and document review
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
