Maintenance Lead Technician - First Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our equipment and machinery (diesel, hydraulic, PLC, electrical, facility), performing repairs and routine maintenance to prevent downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs and routine maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Conduct safety checks and adhere to safety procedures for all maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance with standards.
Assist in training and development of junior staff in maintenance practices.
Participate in quality control efforts, ensuring that all equipment meets operational standards.
Support facility maintenance tasks, including electrical and HVAC systems upkeep.
Utilize welding techniques for equipment repair as necessary.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
Experience with facility maintenance, including HVAC and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering fields are a plus.
