Maintenance Manager

Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, developing maintenance schedules, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance projects, including boiler, pneumatic, hydraulic, and wastewater systems.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Train maintenance staff on new procedures, tools, and technologies, including PLC and HMI systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
Proven experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry.
Strong knowledge of boiler systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and wastewater management.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Familiarity with PLC and HMI controls for manufacturing equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
