We are a National General Contractor with offices in Pittsburgh, PA, and Cleveland, OH (Commercial/Industrial/Transportation) searching for experienced Superintendent to travel to multiple states.

Traveling Superintendent

Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee the construction process on various project sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires frequent travel to different locations and involves collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations on construction sites across multiple locations
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards
Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients and project managers, to provide updates and address concerns
Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations
Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets
Resolve any issues that arise on-site in a timely manner

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of commercial, retail, senior living, and industrial construction
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to travel frequently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Certification in Construction Safety (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour) is a plus
